Currently, DESF spends $60,000 annually – that’s about $100 per child per year. All that money is raised by you!

Over the last few years, the Foundation has worked hard to fund:
- 3 Carts with 40 Chrome Books each, to be used in classrooms
- Classroom Supplies
- Computer Lab supplies
- Scholarship for former Dunsmore students graduating from CVHS or Clark Magnet HS
- Music and P.E. instructors for primary classrooms
- Taiko instruction for all grades (Supported in part by the Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts)
- Playground upgrades
- Accelerated Reader for classrooms
- Science materials
- Clay
- Walk-through exhibits
The Dunsmore Taiko Drumming program is supported in part by a generous grant from the Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts.
The Mary Pinola & Crescenta Valley Chamber Education Fund allowed us to purchase a new cart of Chromebooks this year. It has also provided monetary support for our arts curriculum, musical instruments, and a new sound system.
